Team Placements

Central Cheer Athletics placements are age specific as of 9/30/24.

Team Tryouts/Placements is a stress free time and our staff works hard to make this an enjoyable process. These evaluations/tryouts are for the purpose of team placement. No experience is required to make a team, just a willingness to learn and be coached, and most importantly, COMMITMENT. All athletes will be placed on a team. Motions, jumps, dance and tumbling will be evaluated. Each athlete should attend tryouts with hair pulled up in a pony tail, and wear shorts, tshirt or fitted shirt, and tennis shoes. Tryouts are closed to spectators!  There is a tryout fee of $25 and a permission slip to tryout will need to be signed that day.

CCA Tuition

Team Age Groups (prices are tuition only then expenses are listed below)

  • Rec cheer Silver (Non Nationals exhibition 5 & under) $75/month tumble 30 min cheer 45 min ($825 total tuition)
  • Rec Cheer Black (Non Nationals 6 & under) $85/month tumble/strength 30 min and 1 hr cheer/full floor , total of 1 hr 30 min per week. ($930 total tuition)
  • Rec Cheer Maroon (Non Nationals 8 & under) $95/month 30 min tumble/strength, 45 min stunt, 45 cheer/full floor, total of 2 hours per week. ($1,045 total tuition)
  • Rec Cheer Select & Senior (Nationals/Select team/Senior team) $125/month combined cheer and tumble.  4 hours per week May – August ; September – Nationals(February) 5 hours per week (possibly more) – additional practice time dedicated to routine full outs ($1,375 Total)
  • Rec Cheer Gray (Also Non Nationals this year, 10 & under) $115/month combined cheer and tumble. 3.5 hours per week May to August; September through January  extra practices to be announced to better prepare girls during competition season. ($1,265 Total)

    **Cheering for 3 of 5 CAYSA football games will be mandatory, we will also cheer at a CHS Varsity football game and a CHS Varsity girls/boys basketball game. We will compete at a min of 3 competitions and do at least 2 showcases.

Expense: (Prices below are subject to change)

Covers competition uniform, practice uniform, bows, competition fees, choreography, music, poms, signs, coaches, and registration.

Team Silver total $860 – Deposit $300 due by June 15th, $280 by August 15th, $280 by October 15th

Teams Maroon, Black and Gray total $1095 – Deposit $365 by June 15th, 2nd payment is $365 by August 15th, 3rd payment is $365 by October 15th                                     

Central Select Nationals team total is $1,340 this covers competition uniform, practice uniform, bows, competition fees, choreography, music, poms, signs, coaches, and registration. UCA Camp fees also covered in addition to Nationals Tshirt, plus there’s an additional competition fee you will be required to paid for UCA in December (around $470, this doesn’t include travel expenses or accommodations; it does include entry into ESPN for 4 days plus 2 Disney Park Hopper tickets).

Deposit $450 due on or before June 15th, 1st payment $445due by August 15th, 2nd payment $445 due by October 15th. If expense payments are paid in full by August 1st you will receive a $50 discount.

Central Senior Nationals team total is $1,140 and this covers competition uniform, practice uniform, bows, competition fees, choreography, music, poms, signs, coaches, registration and UCA Camp fees. I will post the more detailed cost breakdown of our National competition once I get it. This competition will be the same weekend as NHSCC and take place at Universal Studios. **Note if on the CHS JV team this will be reduced.

Deposit of $380 is due on or before June 15th, 1st payment of $380 due by August 15th, and 2nd payment of $380 due by October 15th.

 **Sibling discount of $100 off of yearly tuition for cheer and $5 a month off of tumble tuition.
